More Than Just a Service Dog

Baxter is truly special. Trained for specific tasks related to my disability, he provides invaluable assistance every day. Beyond his official duties, he has become my listening ears and an unwavering companion, helping me navigate life's challenges and the journey of grief with grace and steadfast support.

Adventures with Baxter

Our life together is full of adventures, especially as I embrace solo travel. From everyday walks and trips to grocery stores, shopping, and the bank, to dining out in restaurants, Baxter is always by my side. We've even explored new horizons on Amtrak and Greyhound, discovering new places and enjoying sightseeing together.

A Confidant and Comfort

It's important for people to know that while Baxter is a legally certified and registered service dog trained for specific tasks, he has also profoundly become my emotional support and confidant. He offers a kind of understanding and presence that is unmatched – the best kind, never repeated. His silent support has been a cornerstone in my healing journey.
