After Trip Summary and Photos
We took Greyhound to Disney Springs in Orlando, Florida for Thanksgiving—my first solo trip, close to home and familiar territory. Since I can't drive or fly for medical reasons, Greyhound was ideal, and the ride was pleasant with helpful people. The Doubletree, a Disney resort, provided shuttle service and exceptional staff.
We had meals at House of Blues, Splitsville, The Edison, and Paddlefish, shopped, and enjoyed Cirque du Soleil. Baxter and I spent Thanksgiving at the hotel, joining festivities like a pet parade, cookie decorating, and a wonderful meal.
